On 5th September 2014, students of MTO Shahmaghsoudi® London welcomed the recently elected councillor for Crouch End, Sarah Elliott to MTO London. It was a pleasure to meet the councillor and give her a tour of our centre whilst explaining the meaning of some of the artwork presented in our Khaneghah. We introduced some of the teachings of Sufism, the activities that take place within MTO and also the activities the students get involved in. We also had the opportunity to discuss ways in which we can work with the council on areas such as mental health. We would like to thank the councillor for her time and look forward to working with her in the near future.
